Since October 2023, the Lockport Woman’s Club has partnered with Lockport Township High School's Career & Community Connections (CCC), a vocational transition program serving young adults with disabilities ages 18–22.

Through this educational initiative, LWC volunteers meet weekly with students to provide hands-on sewing instruction, helping them develop essential skills while creating practical items that support independence, creativity, and lifelong learning.

As part of the program’s real-world experience, these student-made sewing crafts are sold at the LWC Artisan Market at Old Canal in June and the LWC Christmas Crossroads Craft Show in November. In preparation, they learn to design and organize craft booths, price and promote their items, and understand the value of sales and reinvesting profits. All proceeds from these events go directly back into the CCC program.
