The members of Lockport Woman's Club have donated over $3,000 in books for students to keep.

Here's the book display at Lockport Township High School East Campus.

Financial Literacy Initiative

In 2023, the Lockport Woman's Club launched Money Talk$, a personal finance initiative in coordination with Lockport Township High School. For two school years, LWC volunteers provided short sessions at East Campus covering how to build wealth, planning for the cost of college, credit cards, taxes, buying a car, renting an apartment, and other topics.

Lockport Woman's Club remains committed to promoting financial literacy among the young people in our community. The club has purchased and distributed hundreds of books to students with the hope of giving them a good start to a sound financial future.
